Summer is here and it is a time many people like to take their dogs and puppies outside to play and hang out. Unfortunately some people are not aware of dangers that can kill their pet in extreme hot weather conditions. Here are some tips that can help prevent illness or death.

Do not keep a dog in direct sunlight for too long.

A dog or especially a puppy can heat up fast. They are prone to a heatstroke which can cause a dog to go into convulsions and in really bad cases die.
It is imperative that you keep your dog well hydrated and allow them to get shade. Many dogs instinctively will try to pull you to where they can get shade. Remember they have a fur coat on.

If you see any of the following symptoms your dog can be having a stroke and you must get your dog cooled down immediately.
